Water Resource University has 9 Professional Department, 2 Management Department and 2 Academic Units
Each management department has 4 councils as bellow:
+ Scientific and academic training Council is an advisory body to the Dean about scientific research and academic activities. It consists of Dean and Vice Dean of the department, head of divisions and other qualified and experienced faculties.
+ Disciplinary Council
+ Graduate Council
+ Scholarship Council (to be established by regulation)
Management Departments include In-service Training, Philosophy and Sociology Faculty, each of which Department has 2 councils:

Duration: 5 years for Bachelor’s degree and 3 years for Diploma’s degree
Degree’s system:
+ Graduate students at Technical level : Diploma of Engineering
+ Graduate students at Bachelor’s level: Bachelor of Engineering (with specialty: Hydraulic Engineering, Planning and management of water resources systems, Hydrology and environment, hydropower, hydraulic machinery and equipment, information technology, infrastructure engineering, coastal engineering, water resources economic,
+ Students who graduated with excellence degree could directly enrolled in Postgraduate program
+ the full time second degree: specialty in Hydraulic Engineering
Postgraduate level:
Master of Science degree and PhD degree
